Here's a photo at the top of the Bournemouth Air Traffic Control (ATC) Tower. The person in the photo is controlling flights actually landing and taking-off on the runway on Bournemouth Tower (125.60 Mhz). Flights from around the area inbound first talk to Bournemouth Radar (119.475 Mhz), who then pass traffic on to the Tower when they are on final approach (for instrument traffic). Vis-versa, they pass traffic off to Radar at about 5-600ft after take-off.
